Windows 10 May Be Here Sooner Than Expected
This week Microsoft announced that Windows 10 will be released to manufactures as early as June 2015. That’s earlier than expected and highlights Microsoft’s goal of releasing new versions and updates at an increasing pace.
For enterprise customers with global deployments, keeping up with a new OS is a huge undertaking and allowing Microsoft to automatically deliver new features and updates continuously to its infrastructure is problematic. Critical enterprise systems require strong change management and compatibility testing and verification prior to releasing updates into production to ensure systems continue to operate reliably.
