VMworld 2017 in Las Vegas – Recap
We hope everybody had a good time at VMworld in Las Vegas this year.
Unfortunately we were hit by hurricane Harvey and had to cancel the trip to Las Vegas. Due to the fact that all flights were cancelled from Houston there was no possibility to take part this year.
Luckily nobody from our team was impacted too much but our thoughts and best wishes are with everybody in the area where Harvey hit.
First day:We started off the day with our VMware Solution Selling for Partners learning sessions, ranging from topics like modernized data centers, NSX assessment-led selling and covered what’s new and next from Cloud Management Platform. What’s even better? Attendees had the unique opportunity to learn from experts like Senior Cloud Management Specialist Kyle Geisler and Systems Engineering Director Dave Twinam.
One of the main points covered in these learning sessions was how to conduct customer conversations to uncover their business challenges and objectives and then propose solutions that align with VMware’s new strategic focus areas. Additionally, attendees learned how to up-level conversations with customer executives to better identify their needs and map those needs back to VMware solutions. This is all a part of amplifying partner selling strategies when it comes to VMware solutions, which is a great way to help business boom!
