VMTurbo 5.0 – Managing Virtualization Constraints, What Is the Impact?
We’ve written several times about managing virtualization constraints and the different reasons we see customers add them to their environment. Whether it’s to assure a certain application gets the resources it needs or so that certain groups or customers get access to the resources they are paying for.
Out of the box VMTurbo can automatically discover the constraints of each entity in the environment. We’ve always taken these constraints into consideration and the Desired State – where application workload performance is assured while efficiency is maximized – is impacted by these constraints. Some constraints are necessary and some could and should be removed. With release 5.0 we’ve made it much easier for our users to visualize constraints and decide what to keep and what to remove.
But first a little bit more about virtualization constraints and why they exist.
