The following new features where added to VKernel Releases Capacity Bottleneck Analyzer 1.2:
  • Added information about historical intervals in the statistics text report.
  • Added time zone question to configuration section of Virtual Appliance.
  • Migration to VI SDK 2.5.
  • Task for removing zero points at the beginning of collected data.
  • Support Nested Resources in Custom Groups.
 
The following improvements and changes were made to VKernel Releases Capacity Bottleneck Analyzer 1.2:
  • Update SSH server to the latest version.
  • Update license limitation dialog text.
    Do Not Display Future Capacity Bottlenecks until Sufficient Data has been Collected.
  • Refine Dashboard Wording.
  • Update Text for Dashboard Tooltips.
  • CSS Updates for Dashboard.
  • Move Tooltips to Table Subheader.
  • Use the same trend value as for future bottleneck in current bottleneck.
  • Pop-up dialog if memory stats are not set at level 2.
  • Remove resource type prefixes in the tree and show resource type in tooltips.
  • Disable SSLv2.
  • The Apache server has a cross-site scripting vulnerability that can be fixed by disabling 413 error.
  • Disable listing of some directories in Apache.
  • Dashboard Tooltips should be hidden in printed reports.
  • If clusters are HA enabled, we should show just the HA calculated value.
  • Change the text to 1 sentence each help in dashboard and showing the entire paragraph when a [+] is clicked (expanded).
  • Change the color of the help text in dashboard from black to a dark gray – something like #464646 if we dont have a dark gray in use elsewhere.
  • Change the asterisk to our question mark in the dashboard.
  • Update VMware tools to the latest version.
  • Add more information to Capacity Availability Map.
  • Update help text for Capacity Availability Map.
  • Update Virtual Object cell in dashboard.
  • Change font size of sequence numbers in the table “Top Resource Consumers” Data in the tables “Top Resource Consumers” and “Datastore Statistics” isnt placed in one line.
