In this DABCC white paper you will learn about the problems we face with monitoring a Citrix enterprise and how Integrien Alive can solve these problems once and for all. Integrien Alive is designed to look at an environment as a business process, from the top down. This allows Alive to learn how the different components of the network reacts from the time a user logs on and begins running Citrix published applications, web applications, and/or client/server applications. Once Alive learns the path and components of the business process it can start to configure it self and define what the normal state is for each particular component. Then when Alive spots something out it its normal range it is able to alert the appropriate administrator about the pending problem. Alive does this through what Integrien calls Fingerprints and dynamic thresholds.
