Becoming the de facto Availability provider in the enterprise segment is what we want to achieve, to elevate us to the next level. The foundations are in place now. I want to finetune what we already have and use my experience in high-growth, disruptive technology businesses to do that and add to the impressive customers wins we’re achieving in the region.”

Adams will seek to emulate his VMware success by spearheading Veeam’s growth in the UK&I, adding to its existing local customer base which is close to exceeding 20,000 customers.

“Mark’s strength is in helping customers to make sense of complex digital transformation strategies and drive these initiatives forward,” said Olivier Robinne, Senior Vice President EMEA at Veeam. “He is incredibly motivated and his leadership will be vital to the enterprise growth we are targeting in the UK&I region. Mark has expertise from his work with both Fortune 500 companies as well as start-ups, proof he knows what works and how to deliver success. I’m excited to be working with him.”
