ThinPrint Print-to-ePaper: Offline Use of Important Documents on iPads and iPhones
Cortado, the leading provider of cloud desktop services, today announces that its ThinPrint feature, Print-to-ePaper, is now available on iOS devices, allowing users to automatically print documents to their iPhones and iPads. Important documents are made available as a PDF locally on the mobile device and can later be read or printed.
All that is necessary is a free Cortado Workplace account. If an important document is required on the smartphone or tablet, the user prints it on his computer with the Print-to-ePaper printer driver to his personal Cortado Workplace account. With the useful Auto Download feature, the PDF automatically lands in the local ePaper directory of the mobile device.
“With Print-to-ePaper, important documents, like travel documents, are always at hand and available for viewing offline, even when on the road,” said Charlotte Künzell, Cortado’s CIO. “By utilizing Cortado Workplace’s additional cloud printing feature, documents can also be printed at any time in the Wi-Fi network of choice.”
More than 3.5 million users in more than 15,000 companies who have implemented any of ThinPrint’s line of products can utilize Print-to-ePaper. In addition to iOS devices, the feature is also available for Android devices.
Cortado Workplace version 3.1 is consistently rated with four stars or more in Apple’s App Store and is available free of charge. The app has already gained more than 320,000 users.
