The VMTurbo Mission From Founder Shmuel Kliger
VMTurbo founder Shmuel Kliger describes the mission of VMTurbo, moving IT from the endless break-fix loop, constantly responding to alerts, to maintaining the virtualized environment in a state of perpetual heath, assuring application performance while optimizing human, operating and capital resources.

Why did I found VM Turbo? I founded VM Turbo because I believe IT operations need to transform for this perpetual loop of reacting to alarms and alerts about bad situations, bad states, break fixed loop to an operation that continuously controls the environment in a good state in which application performance are assured, while the environment is utilized as efficiently as possible.
And if you step back from this loop and you ask yourself why, why are we ready to accept that mode of operation? That mode of operation that by definition, I described it, that heavy lifting, the time consuming part of this loop take place when someone is not getting the service that it needs, when applications are not performing.
So why? Why are we ready to accept that mode of operation? Think about it. I there any other system that we are ready to, by design, to be broken and then be fixed? Are we ready to get on an airplane that is designed to crash? No, but we are ready to let our mission critical application run on IT that by design is designed not necessarily to deliver the service that it’s supposed to deliver.
It doesn’t make sense, because by the time – even if a human can look at all of those variables, but the time that human figures out what is the desired state and what actions do I need to do in order to keep the environment in a desired state, everything has changed. The data that the user used to drive his decision based on is no longer relevant.
And that’s what intrigued me, and I said “Wow, here is an opportunity to actually maybe put a dent to this concept of human needs to be in every step of IT operation, and maybe we can build something that minimize human intervention in the ongoing loop of operating IT.”
And by doing that, letting you, the IT administrator, you, the IT operation guy, to stop chasing and firefighting on an ongoing basis, all kinds of instances that keep you awake at night, and instead of that, be focused on how to elevate your IT service and deliver more predictable and more smooth service to your customers. That’s why I founded VM Turbo.
