Windows Operating System Detection via RDP
Tenable Network Security's research group has released a new Nessus plugin which can make use of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) to accurately detect Windows Vista, 2000 Server, 2003 Server and XP Professional. The Remote Desktop Protocol is also sometimes referred to as Terminal Services.

Terminal Server Tricks: Restrict “\\tsclient” Drive Redirection To Certain Directories
One particularly handy feature of recent Terminal Server (MSTSC) clients is the capability to redirect drives to the remote TS / RDP server for use in the RDP session. This is the mechanism by which you can go to \\tsclient\
and access your data over the RDP session, without having to try and map a drive back the computer hosting the session via SMB or the like.

Introducing Windows Server 2008's Terminal Services Easy Print: Part 3
In Part 1, we introduced the main benefits of Terminal Services (TS) Easy Print: a “driver-less” solution for printer redirection over a TS session.
