StormRunner Load 2.1 release simplifies internal app testing with Docker Integration
Version 2.1 of Hewlett Packard Enterprise StormRunner Load, a cloud testing solution for web and mobile apps has just been released. The new set of features this version greatly simplify performance testing for teams that are looking to test internal applications or to streamline testing in their continuous integration/continuous development environment.
The hottest feature in this release is the integration with Docker – an open source platform that ensures consistent environments from development to production. Our new integration simplifies the flow for testing using your own hardware. Now a simple Docker command will automatically spin up as many load generators as needed in a matter of seconds. This will save you hours of effort and many worries. Instead of worrying, you can instead focus on what really matters—how your app is behaving under the specified load.
In this release we have boosted the reporting capabilities of StormRunner Load:
The report time-slicer gives you the option to slice the time range of a report and focus on particular instances—ramp up, tear down, or the peak load.
You can easily customize the data to be exported in CSV format, making sure the download size is smaller and the file contains only the metrics you need.
