What is IMAPing?
Have you ever had the Citrix IMA Service, Citrix License Server, Microsoft Net Logon Service or Windows Print spooler hang and not know? IMAPing eliminates this problem by monitoring these services to insure they are functioning properly. If there is a problem IMAPing notifies you immediately via e-mail. No more calls from users who cannot connect to the network! No email client is required on the MetaFrame Server, and IMAPing is fully configurable. You determine how often you want the selected services checked, who you want to be notified when a problem occurs, whether you want IMAPing to restart a service if a problem is encountered, and if you want to maintain an error event log.
