Part I
DABCC's core goal is to create simple solutions to solve complex problems. Over my years in IT, I've come to realize there are numerous complex issues as the result of the Personal Computer (PC) and its associated software. Some would have us believe that there are no easy answers to these complex problems but to buy more and more complex software and a tool for this and a tool for that. DABCC believes different. We believe that you should not address each issue through a workaround, but should address the core problems through the solutions and fresh ideas that are available today.
Since the release of the first PC over 24 years ago, the computer industry has grown to be one made up of many different moving parts that when combined, drive our day-to-day activities. From Internet banking, websites, and e-mail, to “Googling” recipes for dinner, it impacts every facet of our lives. We've made huge strides in making our lives simpler at the cost to IT departments in both the management and technical struggle they face each and every day.
This being the case; I've dedicated myself to taking a look at these problems, to identify the root cause of each, and to define a solution that will ultimately solve them once and for all. This has become my personal quest.
In this paper, I'm going to discuss the need for a unified centralized management approach that addresses the problems the administrator faces, and then I will present an overall solution.
