About Pete Privateer
Pete Privateer is president and CEO of Reflex Systems. He joined Reflex Systems with more than twenty-five years of senior leadership experience in the industry. Privateer previously held executive positions at many security technology companies. He was vice president of sales, for the ISS division of IBM and senior vice president of worldwide marketing and product management for ISS prior to its acquisition by IBM. He served as president and CEO at Intrusic, a venture-backed Internet security software/appliance company and Pelican Security, where he was responsible for overall strategy and operations of the company. As co-founder and senior vice president of operations for Axent Technologies, one of the first Internet security software companies, he successfully helped lead the company from start-up to successful IPO prior to its sale to Symantec.
