| If you are currently running any previous version of NFuse and want to take advantage of the new features of Web Interface 2.1 then you will be required to do an upgrade. I would recommend you copy any settings before upgrading. If you are still running Project Columbia then you will want to verify that Web Interface has all the functionality you were using in Project Columbia. If not then you might want to stick with Project Columbia and or get with a Citrix partner or Systems Engineer to find if what you are doing is possible with the new Web Interface 2.1. I bet you will find this to be the case. The following details how to upgrade a stand along web server to the Web Interface 2.1. 1. Download Web Interface 2.1 from your MyCitrix.COM portal and extract the contents to a folder. From that folder double click on the NFuseIIS.msi file. 2. Click Next to start the installation. 3. Click the I accept the license agreement radio button and click Next. 4. Click to select the OK to restart IIS radio button and Click Next. 5. Click Next to accept the default location for the Web Interface 2.1 program files. 6. You are now prompted to select a location for setup to backup the previous NFuse or Web Interface version. Accept the default location and click Next to continue. 7. Click Next to install the ICA Clients from the Components CD. 8. Click Next to install Web Interface 2.1 9. Click Finish You have now successfully upgraded your web server to Web Interface 2.1 and are ready to configure it for use. Note: If you are upgrading from Web Interface 2.0 and you have customized it then you might find some of your customizations missing. Web Interface 2.1 updates the include.vbs file so any previous modifications will be lost. Important! Your previous NFuse or Web Interface web sites might now work correctly. You will find the new Web Interface site located at http://web_interface_webserver/citrix/metaframexp. |
