About LineSider OverDrive
OverDrive provides network and security support teams the tools to control and automate in real-time complex access and security models as well as network infrastructure services based on business rules that define the relationship between users and applications, computing and storage resources - both physical and virtual.
These business-level policies are automatically translated into device configurations that dynamically initiate and modify network infrastructure services across routers, switches and firewalls that control access and security models allowing users to connect to data center resources. This policy-driven automated control extends across both physical and virtual network devices and significantly reduces operational costs in both time and money while optimizing operation flexibility and control.
OverDrive enables the network to become as fluid as the virtual computing environment, creating a fully dynamic cloud so that every application gets the network resources it needs, when needed, without any manual intervention.
Benefits:
- Dramatically reduces network operational costs
- Drives virtualization ROI
- Accelerates service delivery
- Enables business agility and alignment
- Enforces compliance and security
- Prevents network downtime
