A few weeks ago, I was privileged to spend a week with an old Citrix partner and virtualization user management vender, AppSense, in order to learn all about what they are up to with the upcoming release of AppSense Management Suite 8.0.   I will be reporting more upon this as they get closer to launch time but in the mean time I had the great pleasure of spending a day with Martin Ingram, AppSenses's VP of Strategy and overall visionary to talk about the future of desktop virtualization, cloud computing, and much more.  Due to this wonderful talk we had I asked Martin if he would be interested in talking to the DABCC Radio community about his views and he agreed and hence this podcast.

In this podcast, Martin and I discuss the current state of the desktop virtualization market, what is missing and what we should expect to see in the future.  Martin and I also discuss cloud computing and if, when, why, and how a company would want to leverage the cloud to compute.  Of course, we also discuss user personalization and how this fits in to the future of desktop computing and how AppSense might fit in to this market.  I hope you enjoy this podcast as much as I did creating it.  Martin is an amazing man with amazing view and a background and experience to back it all up.  The future is untold but I hope this podcast will give you a glimpse in to how one of the virtualization industries' gurus sees it playing out.
