About this Show
In the following DABCC TV Virtualization Video Podcast, we are very happy to have Mark Austin, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Avecto with us. Mark gives us a detailed technical walkthrough on the Avecto Privilege Guard privilege management solution.
Avecto Privilege Guard enables organizations to adopt the principle of least privilege. It is no longer necessary to assign admin rights to users, as these rights can now be assigned dynamically to applications, tasks and scripts. Privilege Guard enables users to log on with minimal rights and empowers them to perform their day to day role, without compromising the integrity and security of the standard desktop build.
New features in version 2.2 of Privilege Guard include:
- MMC extension snap-in to Group Policy Editor
- Full support for Resultant Set of Policy (RSoP)
- HTML Reporting
- Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) Integration
- Support for Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM)
