About Helge Klein
Helge Klein works as an IT architect and consultant for sepago, a German Citrix Platinum and Microsoft Gold Partner. Helge is the architect of sepagoPROFILE, a user profile management solution bought by Citrix in 2008 whose successor is now available as Citrix Profile management.
Helge holds, among others, certifications as Microsoft MCSE, Citrix CCEA and Softricity SoftGrid SCP. His main fields of expertise are:
- Windows Server technologies like Active Directory or Clustering
- Citrix products and technologies
- Scripting and programming in many languages (VBS, Perl, PowerShell, VB.NET, C++)
- User profiles and how to manage them efficiently
In the course of his work Helge has held several training classes (ranging from one to five days) and presented to small and medium-sized audiences on various technical topics. Occasionally he presents at events like Citrix TechEdge.
Helge is the Co-Author of the popular O'Reilly Pocket Reference title “Windows Vista and Server 2008 Commands” (
http://www.oreilly.de/catalog/winvistacommpr3ger/). This (German) book describes the command line tools included in Windows. Helge is the author of SetACL (
http://setacl.sourceforge.net/), a powerful tool for managing Windows permissions from the command line or from scripts and programs. SetACL is open source and has been downloaded more than 280,000 times since 2003.
Helge Klein was born in 1972 and lives in Cologne/Germany. He is married and has a daughter. Apart from spending time with his family he likes movies, cooking and eating good food and the company of his friends.
About Douglas Brown (Host of DABCC Radio)
