Ability to combine Matrox products for a stretched Windows desktop across up to eight displays key advantage for professionals working in high-reliability environments

Montreal, Canada, May 30th, 2007 – Matrox Graphics Inc., today announced the release of the Matrox PowerDesk-SE 2.04 display driver featuring a new Joined graphics card mode and improved widescreen resolution support. The enhancements in this driver provide more control for displaying information across multiple screens—a critical requirement for professionals in industries such as financial trading, energy management, train dispatch, and process control.

“Matrox developed PowerDesk-SE 2.04 in response to requests for more advanced display configurations,” said Samuel Recine, business development manager, Matrox Graphics Inc. “We understand that in high-reliability environments, our customers need to see—and know—the entire situation. Customizing displays across multiple screens gives them the flexibility they need to visualize all incoming data and see their bigger picture.”
