Line2 is a hosted VoIP provider that provides hosted PBX services, with full SMS voice and data for more than 100,000 customers across the United States, Canada, and parts of Europe. Line2 is the only true tri-node calling service – allowing customers to make calls over WIFI, 3G, or Cellular.
Why is monitoring important to Line2?
Reliability is a core requirement for any VoIP provider. Without it, we lose customers and revenue. Everyone realizes that problems do occur, so part of mitigating our risk is reducing the response time that it takes to resolve issues, and that comes with good monitoring tools.
What was Line2 using for monitoring prior to LogicMonitor?
We were using a combination of Microsoft’s SCOM, Nagios, Cacti, OpManager, plus a variety of proprietary vendor tools.
