Liquidware Labs Selected Second Time For CRN Virtualization 100 List
Liquidware Labs, the leader in desktop transformation solutions, today announced it has been recognized again in CRN’s 2012 Virtualization 100 list. Featuring the top 100 vendors in the virtualization space, the Virtualization 100 is an annual list published by UBM Channel’s CRN that helps Solution Providers identify and evaluate virtualization products and programs. CRN lists are considered the de facto resource Solution Providers use to make strategic technology decisions and support their business. Liquidware Labs also achieved this distinction in 2011.
Companies on the 2012 Virtualization 100 list were selected by CRN editors based on their innovative and forward-thinking approach to selling products and services through the IT Channel. Vendors on the list were selected based on their ability to help VARs transform themselves into true service providers that help organizations take advantage of the ease, flexibility, scalability, elasticity and cost savings that virtualization has to offer.
"With all the noise in the marketplace, it can sometimes be challenging for Solution Providers to determine which virtualization company would be the best to partner with," said Kelley Damore, Vice President, Editorial Director, UBM Channel. “That’s why we developed our annual Virtualization 100 list, to highlight and outline the top 100 technology vendors in the space that power, support and evangelize the benefits of virtualization across all parts of the IT infrastructure. We congratulate each member on the Virtualization 100 for making this year’s list."
The Liquidware Labs selection to the CRN Virtualization 100 is based primarily on the strength of its Desktop Transformation Suite and Methodology—Assess, Design, Migrate and Validate. The suite and methodology support every phase of a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) project lifecycle as businesses scale and add new users. Liquidware Labs offerings provide solid measurement and data to support sound decision-making during each phase, thus making virtual desktop projects more reliable, affordable and consistently successful.
In addition, Liquidware Labs is seeing significant traction and momentum with two key products that anchor the suite, including Stratusphere UX for end-user monitoring and diagnostics, and its flagship solution ProfileUnity for user virtualization, which has been enhanced with the recent launch of FlexApp technology for user installed applications.
On the heels of its ProfileUnity with FlexApp product release, Liquidware Labs launched a special program, called Dare2Compare, which makes it easier to try a user virtualization solution than ever before. Companies can take advantage of a free, no risk opportunity to use full licenses of ProfileUnity with FlexApp in-house for an extended evaluation. Liquidware Labs channel partners can leverage this program to address their customers’ need for a feature-rich user virtualization solution.
“The selection by the CRN editors to the Virtualization 100 provides another proof point of how valuable our Desktop Transformation Methodology and our solution suite are to end-user customers and our solution-provider partners involved in VDI deployments,” said Liquidware Labs President and COO Chris Akerberg. “We have created an integrated, end-to-end migration solution that other technology providers are trying to emulate by cobbling together point solutions. By relying on our complete solution, deployments can be completed much faster and at a lower cost whether the project is a VDI-centric solution or a Windows 7 migration project.”
The 2012 Virtualization list will be featured on CRN.com.
