The Holidays are here and that means we all get a little time to relax and play a bit. I recently recorded a podcast with Jason Conger from Splunk (soon to be posted). Although I’ve been told a lot about Splunk I never took the time to check it out or learn about it in more detail. I must admit I’m very impressed so I wanted to share it with you and maybe over the holiday slow time you can take some minutes to download it and play around. You can actually run it on your laptop (Windows, Mac, Linux, HP UX)!!! It’s just a downright cool product!

RES Software Notes from the Road - Citrix Synergy Barcelona Recap
Well, I may sound like a broken record but here I am again at the end of yet another conference. Citrix Synergy 2012 has come to an end and it closed the way it started. Not with a bang or a lot of excitement, but with a quiet and reserved close. Next year there will be no Synergy in the ol’ CCIB. Instead Citrix has decided to move the European version of Synergy to London. I guess all the fan fair of the Olympics still has a sparkle somewhere.
