HP VP Lawrence Wong Appointed to Xangati Board of Directors

Xangati, a service assurance analytics and infrastructure performance management software innovator, today announced that Lawrence Wong has been appointed to its board of directors. Currently Vice President of Hewlett-Packard’s Converged Datacenter Infrastructure Business Unit, Lawrence is a key leader in bringing operational and performance improvements to IT in the areas of virtualization, Big Data, integrated systems and infrastructure management.

Lawrence’s insights and expertise into management and performance issues relative to cloud and application-hosting services, server-compute platforms and converged infrastructures, will prove valuable as Xangati further extends its predictive analytics and root cause diagnostics throughout the virtualized infrastructure, including all physical components and relevant interactional data.

Lawrence joined HP from McKinsey & Company where he was a Partner and leader of the Global Business Technology practice, a major service line with several hundred consultants driving strategy and transformation of IT operations and infrastructure.  Lawrence has a proven track record of impact with several global Fortune 50 enterprises across banking, insurance, software, hardware and IT services. Lawrence holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
