It would be a shame to visit San Francisco and not venture beyond Moscone Center when it’s time to eat.  With 3,588 restaurants in the city, you can choose from Michelin-star rated establishments to food trucks to everything in-between when deciding where to have your next breakfast, lunch, dinner or midnight snack.

Here is a short list of places to grab a bite in S.F. whether you want to take a quick lunch and be out in the sun for a few minutes or if you need to pick a restaurant to make the perfect impression.

  • Locals flock to the Mission District for dinner at places like Limon Restaurant (Nuevo Peruvian) and Dosa (Southern Indian) when wanting to go out on the town and have great food with friends.
  • Brand new to the SoMa neighborhood and a 6-minute cab ride from Moscone Center is the SoMa StrEat Food Park. Always a different group of ten food truck vendors (and if you’re lucky it’ll include Bacon Bacon SF—a food truck must for bacon lovers) park their “restaurants” together to let foodies come to tickle their tastebuds.
  • The Ferry Building is only a 7-minute cab ride from Moscone and is not only beautiful but has wonderful cafes and restaurants serving a variety of cuisine…
