In my last post, I talked about how DevOps culture requires an understanding of the full process of managing the runtime environment, designing new change, and deploying those changes. And in order to speed up delivery of compute services in the context of DevOps we must embrace software that enables the virtual environment to self-organize. Now let’s talk about the design and deploy phases of the process.
Design right and right now …
Orchestration and automation have been achieved through a combination of our own process automation, and the automation of many of the common functions and actions that are currently done by people teams. We’ve broadened our approach to the liquidity pools to open the doors to letting policy do the work that it should be doing in maintaining Quality of Service within the environment.
