Deploying Google Chrome extensions using Group Policy

Before you can use a Microsoft Group Policy to manage your Chrome extensions, you first need to import the Chrome ADMX files. To be able to add an extension to a Group Policy, two values need to be known: the extension ID and the extension’s “update” URL. These two values have to be concatenated into one string, but separated by a semicolon (;). For example:
This string is than added to the Group Policy setting Configure the list of force-installed apps and extensions. This setting is located here: User Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ Google\ Google Chrome \ Extensions.
