Cortado Joins F5’s Technology Alliance Program to Improve iOS Enterprise Mobility
Enterprise mobility experts Cortado today announced that it has joined F5 Networks’ Technology Alliance Program (TAP). Through this partnership, Cortado gains access to F5® technology solutions and resources in order to maximize the value of deploying the companies’ products together.
"Cortado is focused on providing productive enterprise mobility for companies with mobile employees," said Frank Hoffmann, Director Strategic Relationships at Cortado. "Our customers value our commitment because they now can use Apple´s per app VPN in order to secure company documents and to save bandwidth. Aligning our technology with F5 solutions will enable our customers to use a secure, easy-to-implement solution for mobile productivity with iOS devices."
With the interoperable solution, mutual customers are able to implement not just a secure per app VPN but also benefit from the unique features of Cortado Corporate Server such as convenient MDM based on the Windows backend and secure access to the company´s file system and intranet apps. While Cortado Corporate Server with its components supports Apple’s business functions including per app VPN, F5’s BIG-IP® Access Policy Manager® (APM®) product delivers the necessary VPN connection.
Through the TAP partnership, Cortado promotes interoperability and continued innovation with F5, and provides a framework for ongoing collaboration.
"Cortado brings enhanced access functionality to mutual customers, and is a welcome addition to our Technology Alliance Program," said Ron Carovano, Manager, Business Development at F5 Networks. "This partnership helps organizations be confident in providing users with secure enterprise mobility via iOS devices when deploying Cortado Corporate Server and F5’s BIG-IP APM in concert."
