Connecting to the Cloud!

If you read my blog regularly, you know that cloud services is one of our top priorities at Citrix. After all, the cloud is a key technology for powering mobile workstyles that enable people to work from anywhere on any device. This year you will hear us talk a lot about how the Cloud Era is based a completely different set of assumptions than past generations of IT.  In fact, many of the exceptions from the PC Era – such as mobile users, personal devices, wireless access, app stores, SaaS, and cloud infrastructure – have become the new assumptions for the Cloud Era. This is forcing enterprise IT organizations to reevaluate their strategies, causing them to search for lower costs, greater capacity and improved agility – all while keeping up with the trend toward the consumerization of IT in the enterprise.

This week, Citrix will be a sponsor at Cloud Connect at the Santa Clara Convention Center, which brings together the entire cloud eco-system to discuss and better understand the transformation we are experiencing. Stop by our booth (#509) or attend one of the sessions below to hear why forward-thinking organizations are using virtualization, networking, collaboration and cloud technologies to say “yes” to the forces of consumerization while dramatically improving business productivity, efficiency, agility and security. And be sure to visit the Citrix news page to check out the Citrix CloudStack announcement we made today.  Hope to see you there!
