Citrix: Montifiore: It’s About Time, Technology and Family
I think I am becoming my mother. No … wait. I think “becoming” mightn’t be strong enough. I’ve actually already leaped that high fence and landed on her side of the uber-logical stratosphere.
When I first read the case study for Citrix customer Montefiore Health Systems (MHS), all of those facts and figures made my head whip around on my neck and my brain began to disengage.
Immediately, I channeled Mom, whose signature line is, “But what does all that really mean to ME?” And it’s a great question, isn’t it? Typically when my Mom asks that, she’s got good reason (mothers are ALWAYS right, aren’t they?!)
What DO these impressive numbers mean:
10 hospitals, 150 locations, the largest school health program in the nation, a user base that grew from 18,000 to 28,000, 1.5PB of data mushrooming to 6.5PB, and EPIC rolled out to 10,000 machines?
What do these figures really have to do with me, or her, or any of us?
