Citrix EOLs XenClient
Citrix XenClient Enterprise has officially started into the End-of-Life process, both as a standalone product and as a technology entitlement of XenDesktop Enterprise and Platinum editions. DesktopPlayer and Citrix Synchronizer – the management server that communicates with local VMs running DesktopPlayer – are not impacted by this announcement and will continue to be available as part of XenDesktop.
The effective date of XenClient Enterprise End-of-Sale is October 1, 2015 with End-of-Maintenance date and End-of-Life date scheduled for December 12, 2015 and December 12, 2016, respectively. Please refer to the Product Lifecycle page on Citrix.com for more details.
