Atlantis Computing named a strong performer in The Forrester Wave: Hyperconverged Infrastructure Q3 2016 Report
The results are in- great news for Atlantis Computing! Today we were named a strong performer in The Forrester Wave Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), Q3 2016 report. The report evaluated 12 vendors based on a 28-criteria assessment, including current offering, strategy and market presence.
Atlantis received high ratings throughout, particularly in the current offering category, where we earned exemplary scores (5 out of a possible 5 rating) for availability, manageability/ease of operations, flash-based performance and deduplication. The company also received high scores in hyperconverged functions, advanced RAID, hardware platform support and non-virtualized environment support.
As hyperconverged infrastructure is a rapidly growing market category that is continuing to see high adoption, this is an exciting recognition of the company’s HCI product leadership and strength of its SDS and hyperconverged solutions portfolio. In particular, we’re seeing strong demand for HCI in virtual desktops. Atlantis weaves together SDS, workspace components such as Citrix or VMware-based desktop virtualization technology, and our integrated appliances to provide a fully integrated, agile virtual workspace infrastructure.
