Oracle engineers hardware and software to work together in the cloud and in your data center. This FREE workshop consists of one day of in-depth lecture and demonstrations to gain a fundamental understanding of the concepts, architecture and migration strategies to implement and manage Hybrid (Public/Private) clouds utilizing Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control, Exadata, Exalogic, Oracle VM, Oracle Linux, and Oracle Virtual Assembly Builder. After completing this workshop, attendees will understand the concepts, architecture and migration strategies to implement and manage public and private Oracle Clouds.
The workshop instructor is the owner of Mokum Solutions, Inc., Roddy Rodstein. Roddy is one of the most respected Oracle Cloud Computing experts, having designed and managed many of the world’s largest and most complex Oracle clouds. Before establishing Mokum in March 2011, Roddy spent three years at Oracle on the Oracle VM and Oracle Linux team designing and supporting Oracle’s largest and most complex customer environments. Before Oracle, Roddy spent six years at Citrix, designing and supporting Citrix’s largest and most complex customer environments, including Oracle’s. Before Citrix, Roddy established a consulting group offering virtualization and Enterprise application delivery solutions. With Mr. Rodstein’s rich background and knowledge, there can be no better resource for revealing the Oracle Cloud recipe.

Roddy Rodstein Roddy is one of the most respected Oracle Cloud experts in the Oracle community, having designed, architected, and managed many of the worlds largest and most complex public, private and hybrid Oracle Clouds. Mr. Rodstein spent six years at Citrix and three years at Oracle supporting virtualization, cloud computing and application delivery solutions for Global 100, Fortune 500, and SMB customers. Prior to joining Citrix and Oracle, Mr. Rodstein established, owned, and operated a consulting business that specialized in virtualization and application delivery.Roddy joined Oracle' Virtualization and Linux team from its inception in 2008. In March 2011, Roddy established Mokum Solutions, Inc.. "While at Oracle, there was not a single Oracle Partner in North America able to design, deploy and support public, private and hybrid Oracle VM Clouds. In fact, that was my inspiration to establish Mokum." Mr. Rodstein's professional achievements also extend to blogging, writing and self-publishing industry reference guides: The Underground Oracle VM Manual, The Oracle Cloud Cookbook as well as the development and ongoing management of the only independent Oracle social media website, ITNewsCast.com.
