The following Citrix support article describes how to deploy and configure HDX MediaStream for Flash.
Users now have the ability to stream HDX Flash based Web site content over ICA. This allows you to use the processing power of a user’s workstation to run flash based streaming video experience through Microsoft Internet Explorer, even with high definition video content; reducing the need to use server side resources.
The following components must be installed (or running) on the client workstations and the XenApp server:
Server Side:
- Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX
- Internet Explorer (version 7 or 8)
Workstation:
- Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX
- 11.2 Plug-in (or 11.2.2)
- Internet Explorer (version 7 or 8)
- The client side process, pseudocontainer.exe must be running when attempting to use HDX flash.
