Nicholas Weaver (nickapedia.com) just released a really simple and cool system tray applet that allows you to view the current vCenter connections.
All you need to do is run through a simple, next, next, next, finish install and then you enter the vCenter connection settings and away you go! That is all there is to it.
Once installed you can view the current vCenter sessions by clicking on the vSphere Session Monitor located in the system tray.
That is all there is to it. Simple and easy but sort of cool. ;)
