Legal experts have previously told CNet that the option to appeal could drag this case on for several more years. And as CNet has also noted: A separate appeals case between the two companies regarding software elements of Android and a potential ban on the Galaxy Nexus is set to start in 2014. The legal spat will also spill over into additional countries, where Apple and Samsung have cross-sued each other on multiple fronts.
