Another Iforum Comes and Goes

This was my fourth Iforum and once again I was more than impressed with everything I saw. I’m sorry it’s over, but it’s time to get back to work. All of us at DABCC have a lot to do – add content to the new web site, prepare for the upcoming training in Norway, and attend to all of the details required to get DABCC, Inc. up and running.

I would like to thank the team at Premitech for giving me the opportunity to present Tuning and Printing in a Citrix® MetaFrame® environment. (A copy is available on the website for downloading.) The session was attended by more than 200 people and was a resounding success. Special thanks to Brian Madden who provided some of the tuning documents.

I’m also very excited for the Citrix® MetaFrame® Presentation Server 4.0! Citrix has added some beneficial and much needed new features. You can find a list of new features on the Presentation Server 4.0 page.

Iforum was the perfect opportunity to kick off DABCC, Inc. As many of you know, DABCC is a team effort and we have all been working feverishly on everything that goes into creating a company. We are now beginning to concentrate on updating the web site. As always, technical content will be our emphasis and we are confident that you will find dabcc.com to be even better than it was in the past. We are creating partnerships with some of the leading Citrix integrators, software developers and hardware manufacturers in the industry in order to bring you the most current and comprehensive information anywhere. We are confident that you will be impressed with what you see over the upcoming months.

We are about ready to launch the DABCC online store and to release Advanced Print Manager 4.0. However, you don’t have to wait. You can get an evaluation copy by clicking the link on our home page. It is a great product and one that every company should use daily.

Just one last note on the attendees and the parties. In my opinion, the Citrix customer/partner base contains some of the coolest people around. Each year, Iforum provides a great opportunity to meet new faces and renew old acquaintances. It’s hardly over and I can’t wait till next year!
