It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that security is still one of the top issues that organizations are trying to get their arms around when contemplating the move into a hybrid cloud. We’ve seen research from every analyst firm with an interest in cloud telling us that security, along with regulatory compliance and data sovereignty, is posing the most boardroom concern for organizations transforming to a cloud based operating model, and it’s not surprising when you taking into consideration the average annualized cost of cybercrime – $7.7m in 2015 according to the Ponemon Cost of Cybercrime study.
